Interact, a leading supplier in intelligent intranet software has announced that it is donating £675.00 to CLIC Sargent - the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, which provides clinical, practical and emotional support to young cancer patients and their families.

The donation will be taken out of ticket sales from the London intranet conference, Interaction 2011 which was held last Wednesday and Thursday at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster in London. The event was an over-whelming success, attracting some of the UK’s leading companies including Coca-Cola, Deloitte and Arm.

It gave attendees the opportunity to listen and network with global intranet experts to acquire the knowledge necessary to achieve and implement a leading intranet.

Helen Thomas, Web Communications Manager at CLIC Sargent, commented:

"I would like to say a huge thank you to Interact for making this fantastic donation to CLIC Sargent.
Every sum we receive makes a huge difference to us and with this ongoing support we can achieve our aim of reducing the impact of childhood cancer on children, young people and their families.

“We thoroughly enjoyed the event and found it very useful for both ourselves and for raising the profile of CLIC Sargent, which is great. We are already looking forward to next year’s event!”

CEO and Founder of Interact, Nigel Danson said:

“CLIC Sargent is a fantastic charity which does wonderful work with children and young people with cancer and offers support for their families. We are really pleased that we were able to make a fantastic donation from the sales of the Interaction 2011 tickets.

We hope that the money will assist with the life-changing work that CLIC Sargent is doing every day.”

Sponsored by Interact Intranet, CMS Wire and IBF the event consisted of key-note sessions with leading global intranet experts, including James Robertson, Mark Morrell, Sam Marshall, Janus Boye and Lee Bryant and also gave people the chance to see award winning intranets in action in an exhibition area.
