Founded in 1936 by Nat Peal, N.Peal have traded in luxurious cashmere knitwear from their boutique in the exclusive Burlington Arcade. During this time many stylish people have worn their collections including Marilyn Monroe, Ava Gardner, Jackie Kennedy, Christina Onassis, Princess Diana, Adele, Princess Charlene of Monaco, Kate Moss, Elle McPherson, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Bridget Bardot, The Middleton's who frequent the Bicester Village outlet and recently name but a few...'

Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and exclusive shopping streets in Britain, the perfect location for N.Peal. The MD, Adam Holdsworth adds ’Our aim is to continuously update the look and feel of the brand, provide a very personal customer service and ensure the very highest standards of quality are maintained throughout each collection/each season, attracting new and old clients’

The cashmere N.Peal uses comes from specially selected farms on the vast Mongolian steppe. Only here are the winter temperatures low enough to make the goats grow an extra layer of long soft cashmere to keep out the cold. It is this perfect cashmere that is used in all their knitwear. Over the last 75 years N.Peal have learnt how best to prepare and dye this cashmere, which is why their knitwear is not only feather-light and soft to the touch, but it will retain its shape and quality for many years.

The N.Peal collection draws inspiration from over 75 years of experience and heritage, while developing innovative new styles that help to give their pieces a stylish and contemporary feel. By using only the finest natural shell and horn buttons, the very purest pure Mongolian cashmere and luxurious fur trims are able to provide truly indulgent cashmere knitwear.

In June 2007 N.Peal appointed Sara and Amiee Berman as their Creative Directors. N.Peal felt that the heritage of the brand was in need of a modern twist; both Sara and Aimee have given just that. Both Sara and Amiee are graduates of the world famous Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design in London. As well as working with N.Peal, they run their own widely-regarded Sara Berman label. The Berman sisters are at the cutting edge of London fashion, and provide fresh inspiration for the timeless world of cashmere.
