New wishlist service and shopping portal takes the stress from choosing presents and hitting the shops to buy them

Present shopping can be one of the most stressful parts of Christmas - ages spent racking your brains what to buy people and then the horror of going out and hitting the shops on a hectic Saturday afternoon in December.

Well help is at hand for stressed Christmas shoppers with the launch of new wish list service and shopping portal,

My List Is Here gives the letter to Santa a modern twist by allowing you to put together a Christmas wish list from more than 500,000 products across more than 300 high street and online stores and share that list with your friends and family. The stores include Selfridges, Debenhams,, Gap and Vodafone, putting an end forever to the ‘unwanted socks and smellies’ situation on Christmas morning.

But more importantly - Christmas is the time for giving after all - you can invite your friends and family to do likewise and access each other’s wishlists. Joining couldn’t be easier - just log-in using your Facebook, Twitter, Hotmail, Yahoo or Google account. You then invite other people in the same way you would on a social network. There is a Friend Finder tool so you can locate family and friends already on the site, or send out invites to those not registered. is the brainchild of former BBC Producer Amanda Colpoys who said: “Thinking of what to buy people can be such a challenge and I want to take the stress out of Christmas shopping. Bringing the ‘santa letter’ online means an end to unwanted prezzies and allows your gifts to friends and family to really hit the spot.”

My List Is Here has a comprehensive search function that is perfect for finding the things you want. You can choose to search on a collection of specific stores and stores are arranged by A-Z and by product category, so it’s easy to find the items you want and allows you to discover some new ones too. The site also features a ‘Wish Widget’, which sits in your bookmarks folder and can be used to add products to your wish lists at any time.

If you don’t want to create a personal, bespoke list there are handy ready-made wish lists available. With several more to follow, we already offer new baby and wedding lists that contain anything and everything you could want for those momentous life occasions.
