The Purple Agency (part of Adare) has been selected as a finalist in the 2011 Best Use of FastStats Awards run by data analytics software company Apteco

The Purple Agency (part of Adare) has been selected as a finalist in the 2011 Best Use of FastStats Awards run by data analytics software company Apteco. The award, the winner of which will be announced on the 18 November at The Royal Institution in London, recognises cutting edge work in the field of data driven marketing utilising Apteco’s own market leading software, FastStats.

The Purple Agency’s finalist entry is for its work with international business publisher, Euromoney. Using FastStats, Purple and Euromoney have instigated company-wide initiatives that have delivered significant cost and process efficiencies in online subscription marketing. By leveraging insight from the ‘big data’ generated by online activity, behavioural models have been created that enable more effective use of sales channels, increasing conversion from trial subscribers to paid subscribers and reducing sales costs. This, together with other strategic activities, has already enabled Euromoney to drive operational savings forecast to exceed £600,000 a year.

Commenting on the finalist position, Andrew Woodger, director of data and planning, The Purple Agency, said, “These awards recognise the vital part which data plays in enabling companies to drive all aspects of their business. With the right software tools it’s possible to discover vital insights which can then be converted into real business value. Working closely with Euromoney that’s exactly what we’ve been able to do here, and it’s good to have that hard work and success recognised by the judging panel of these awards.”

Founded in 1969, Euromoney is a leading international business-to-business media group with a range of titles lead by its flagship, Euromoney. It has offices in four countries and employs 2,200 people globally.
