Eniram’s solutions help shipping operators to reduce fuel consumption using techniques such as dynamic trim optimisation

Latest accolade, which recognises the growth record of ‘clean technology’ innovators, highlights the significant environmental contribution of the Finnish provider of data analysis solutions to the shipping & marine industry

Helsinki, Finland – November 21st, 2011 – Eniram Limited, a provider of data analytics software for the shipping and marine industry, has been named one of Europe’s fastest-growing ‘clean technology’ (cleantech) companies at an awards ceremony in London.

Each year GP Bullhound, a leading investment banking firm which provides advice on mergers, publishes a list of the 50 fastest-growing cleantech companies. Eniram was ranked 13th in the 2011 Top 20 Fastest-Growing Companies list, in recognition of the Finnish software provider’s phenomenal growth record over recent years.

Eniram’s solutions help shipping operators to reduce fuel consumption using techniques such as dynamic trim optimisation. The impact on fuel consumption and related operating costs can be as much as 5%.

Eniram’s annual revenues have grown by 6209% over the last five years, recently earning the company the number one spot in Deloitte’s 2011 Finland Fast 50 list of high-growth technology businesses. In 2010, it recorded a 300% increase in revenues over 2009, turning over 3.3 million Euros (£2.8M) and in 2011 it expects to achieve 200% revenue growth.

Commenting on this latest accolade, Philip Padfield, Eniram’s CEO, said, “It is fantastic that our achievements, and the value of our software, are being so widely recognised by investors and assessors of clean technology. It makes all of our dedication and hard work worthwhile.”
