CTEK, a leading global brand in the care and maintenance of vehicle batteries, is celebrating after the Honda British Touring Car team which it sponsors, drove to success and achieved all three major honours in the 2011 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season.

Following a thrilling last round of the BTCC season at Silverstone race circuit, team drivers Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden finished first and second respectively in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, winning Neal his third title and the team the prestigious HiQ Teams’ Trophy. The pair also helped Honda secure the BTCC Manufacturers/Constructors title for the 17th time since its debut at the same circuit in 1991.

As part of a 2011 sponsorship deal, CTEK branding has been displayed on both of the Honda cars for the entire season. The race workshop has also been employing CTEK chargers for Battery Charging and diagnostic support.
