Major investment will significantly improve BRT Group’s business performance across 21 locations

28th November 2011 - BRT Group, a leading independent supplier of automotive and industrial components, is implementing an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system from m-hanceto increase business efficiency and strengthen financial control. The solution, which is being implemented as part of a major investment by BRT Group into the company’s IT systems, will be rolled-out across 21 locations throughout the UK.

Phillip Clarke, Managing Director of BRT Group, explains, “We decided that if we were going to make a major investment in a new system it had to be with a company that understood our business and could provide software with a long term future. The fully integrated system comprises a portfolio of financial management, sales order processing, warehousing, kit assembly, purchasing and demand planning and will provide business critical information to BRT Group in real-time, significantly improving decision making. It will also automate a range of manual-based processes, reducing the time and costs associated with inefficient paper procedures.

Clarke comments, “With the new system in place we will have instant access to up-to-date information, whenever it is needed, which is vital to our business as we strive to exceed the expectations of our customers whilst enabling us to identify problems and opportunities much more quickly.”
