Monmothshire’s Crown at Whitebrook has been named as one of the top restaurants in the UK, so why not make a visit part of your UK family holiday. The celebrated Michelin star restaurant, near Monmouth, is currently rated as a top eating establishment in Wales in the influential The Sunday Times Food List.

The Crown at Whitebrook, which has recently been voted top restaurant in Wales by the AA, and holds three rosettes. The Crown scored 8.99 out of ten in the chart just behind list topping Denbighshire’s Tyddyn LLan which had a score of 9.05. The Sunday Times Food List is based on food quality alone and is chosen by 8,000 diners-out from across the UK.

Karen Robinson, Editor of The Sunday Times Food List, says “We’re delighted for everyone that made the list. It’s a great achievement as The Food List is the ultimate taste test. It represents the views of the food-loving public rather than a clique of food critics or anonymous restaurant inspectors telling us where to go and spend our money.”

Jonathan Davies, Director of Crown Hotels and Restaurants which owns The Crown at Whitebrook, said: “Recognition such as this is just reward for the unstinting efforts from the entire team at The Crown at Whitebrook. What makes this acknowledgment especially welcome is that it comes directly as result of views expressed by the people that really count: our customers.”
