Following a statement from WordPress it has been revealed that there are over 50,000 new WordPress.com and WordPress.org blogs and sites launching daily. “It has been apparent from the WordPress community that there has always been the demand for a way for users to monetise their blogs and able to earn money if their website or blog could generate a high enough level of traffic or quality content for it's visitors. “We’ve resisted advertising so far because most of it we had seen wasn’t terribly tasteful, and it seemed like Google’s AdSense was the state-of-the-art, which was sad. You pour a lot of time and effort into your blog and you deserve better than AdSense.”
