From Blodwen the Maid to a Purple Moose, north Wales has plenty to entice the visitor at Great Days Out (Stands 1002-1004) in Manchester’s Trafford Centre on Saturday 25th February. Exhibiting as part of the new Destination North Wales marketing brand will be a consortium of some of the finest attractions, hotels and both public and private sector tourism operators across the whole of the region. What a great way to plan your UK family holiday in North Wales.

Exhibitors include National Trust Wales, Attractions of Snowdonia, Ten Top Attractions, Plas Cadnant Gardens on Anglesey, St Georges Hotel in Llandudno, Celtic Royal Hotel in Caernarfon and Visit Llandudno.

Destination North Wales will also be taking part in the official event programme with talks by Anthony Tavernor from Plas Cadnant and Jana Jones representing Attractions of Snowdonia.

Bringing a taste of medieval Conwy town will be Blodwen the maid who will be on hand to regale visitors with spooky tales from the magnificent Plas Mawr Elizabethan Townhouse, managed by Cadw. The wonderfully titled Purple Moose Brewery from Porthmadog will also be showcasing some of its finest award-winning Welsh beers on the stand. A range of QR codes and a competition to win a stay at the iconic Portmeirion hotel will also be offered at the show.

Carole Startin, on behalf of Tourism Partnership North Wales, said, “Destination North Wales will be formally launched later in the year and will be supported by a new integrated website and mobile friendly site bringing together all that north Wales has to offer both the travel trade and UK family holiday visitor alike.

“We have a wonderful mixture of exhibitors at Great Days Out representing some of the best the region has to offer in terms of attractions, heritage, luxury and produce and we look forward to setting up our stall to welcome many more visitors to north Wales in the future.”
