Hooker on the Main Stage at GO.GO

The unique, boutique GO.GO Festival is back for its third year after a runaway success in 2011. GO.GO is a ground breaking, independent 3 day women’s music festival in London, attracting a niche clientele of lesbian and bisexual women. 3,000+ women are expected at the 72 hour non-stop girl party, which offers live music alongside 6 great venues, 9 club nights, all day clubbing, burlesque, comedy, workshops and art and literature.

Boasting the best line-up in the festivals 3 year history, organisers have pulled all the stops to deliver the most exciting line-up ever seen at the hotly anticipated women’s festival. Chart topping headliners StooShe, The Noisettes and PEACHES are supported by Uh Huh Her, Sick Of Sarah, Jill Jackson, B*tch, Wallis Bird, BETTY and many more, the 3 day festival boasts an array of artists from across the world.

Ramping up the sound systems on the Main Stage for the first time on a Friday night to launch GO.GO in style, the festival opens with stomping sets from StooShe, Uh Huh Her, featuring Leisha Hailey aka Alice Pieszecki from hit TV show The L Word and BETTY, plus burlesque shows and guest appearances. Performing especially for weekend ticket holders, Friday nights line-up will kick start GO.GO with a bang.

The Main Stage showcases international acts and home grown talent from a wide variety of genres. Over 50 performers will be on show over the weekend, from bands and soloists to burlesque and DJ’s, creating an eclectic mix with something to suit everyone.

9 club nights dominate after sundown, 3 of which take place in the massive 2,000 capacity Big Top, with sets from world-renowned DJ’s. Organisers have extended the licence to 2am, so the parties can keep going till the early hours. Several new areas have been introduced for 2012, including Daylight Saving Hours all day DJ dance tent, London’s infamous Candy Bar, the intimate burlesque gin palace the Peacock Lounge, and massage and styling parlour the Pamper Lounge. The legendary GO.GO comedy sessions are back, along with the 200-strong all-female speed dating. Workshops, drag kings, zumba and burlesque classes are thrown in to the mix, and for campers, luxury VIP glamping experiences are available.

Over 3,000 women are expected at the London based festival. Weekend camping tickets are just GBP £110 + bf, and include all entertainment with over 50 performers, 15 DJ’s, 6 great venues, 9 nightclubs, all day clubbing, burlesque, comedy, talks, drag king, belly dancing and zumba classes, pamper lounge and camping from Friday 8th June – Monday 11th June 2012.
