Pavlos has a unique experience and outlook, and brings together the world's most engaging voices.

Crown Prince of Greece Launches Debate Forum

On Friday The Periscope Post launch Agora, a new opinion forum chaired by H.R.H. Prince Pavlos of Greece in which key voices in politics, economics and culture will offer opposing, and often controversial opinions on a range of topics chosen by Pavlos, himself an important voice in the business community.

The first topic for debate will ask if Germany, who failed to conquer Europe through military power, are now succeeding through financial and socioeconomic power. Opinions will come from a major art curator, a high profile journalist, an author, a successful investor and Prince Pavlos himself. Readers are invited to add their perspectives to enrich this unique online debate.

Agora - the Greek word for market - aims to become a marketplace of ideas in which the opinions of thought-leaders are pitted against each other, and readers can join the debate with their own thoughts. Prince Pavlos said “in Greece, as in the UK we have a rich history of debating society’s predicaments openly and passionately. It will be fascinating to see how our commentators divide opinion
and our readers enrich the discussions with their views.”

The Periscope Post’s CEO Thomas D Gommes said “with so much happening in the world and the abundant yet disparate comment around that online, we wanted to create a place to explore all sides of the key issues affecting us today. Pavlos has a unique experience and outlook, and brings together the world's most engaging voices."
