DME secure corporate container makes it easy for users to utilize smart devices in a BYOD environment
The DME solution has been awarded the Grand Prix in the category "smart device" at this year's Interop conference in Tokyo, Japan.
Excitor and its Japanese partner Soliton were presenting DME at this year's Interop conference, hosted in Tokyo between the 12th and the 15th June. Interop is one of the leading IT Business conferences. During this show, Excitor DME received the Interop Grand Prix Award in the category "smart device".
To explain their decision, The Interop Award judges said: "First of all, DME deserves acclaim for its implementation as an application on smart device, which differs from other implementation options like virtualization technology which could be considered overkill.
Regarding users' identity management, since DME utilizes the corporate's internal directory service, the DME administrator is freed from double control of identity management. In addition, when an enterprise decides to go mobile, they do not need to rework internal web applications. This is a great productivity gain. Its capability to erase data only on the DME secure corporate container makes it easy for users to utilize smart devices in a BYOD environment. Given these facts, the "Grand Prix" award goes to DME".
Excitor is delighted to receive this award and thank Soliton for their great efforts promoting DME during this conference.
