Universities can now buy travel for staff and students with the same online shopping basket they use for other items. The full range of travel products and services will be available via the integration.
The new development follows a partnership between EGS and CTM (Chelsea Travel Management), an independent travel management company that provides corporate services to a range of business sectors.
The new travel services option is now available on request to customers of Parabilis, which is managed by EGS and connects 43 universities with their suppliers online.
Parabilis integrates seamlessly with CTM’s Corporate Solution, so users can shop for travel services with their familiar shopping basket. Purchases are brought back into each organisation’s financial management system, ready for approval, thereby streamlining travel procurement.
