Fairsail Selected for Unified HR Support as Alfresco Grows Mobile Workforce

Reading, Sept 6th 2012 – Alfresco, one of the world’s leading open source providers of Enterprise Content Management today announced it has selected Fairsail’s Human Capital Management (HCM) solution to manage and monitor its global workforce. With over 250 staff in 14 countries Alfresco will now be able to manage all of its local and global HR functions, on a single Fairsail HR platform - Swiftsure.

Alfresco’s offices in Europe, America and Asia, have undergone rapid growth, serving some major global companies. Such growth meant the swift hire of new staff simultaneously across several different locations. The company required a system which could be quickly implemented, accessed and updated across remote teams, as well as dealing with the complex issues of local languages and currencies. Alfresco identified Fairsail as the only HR software provider which could deliver a fully automated work flow solution on a global scale and provide HR with the ability to manage fully automated work flows. This was all delivered in budget and in under 10 weeks.

With offices all over the world the new system was configured around different employment regulations, for example in France and the USA holiday allowance is calculated differently to that of other countries. Fairsail also has the ability to switch between currencies and, where possible, offer a language selection tool. In total Fairsail’s HCM solution provides support for eight different currencies and offers English, French, German and Spanish for users to select in self-service.
