Is kindness the answer to the global crisis?
Kindness UK are hosting the 7th General Assembly of the World Kindness Movement at their Cricklewood headquarters from the 18th-20th September 2012. The conference will bring together kindness movements from Australia, China, Dubai, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, the UK, the USA and Spain. The delegates will be joined by selected guests and members of the public over the 3 day period to discuss a wealth of issues surrounding kindness. The Worshipful Mayor of the London Borough of Brent is due to open the proceedings on the evening of Tuesday 18th September and Dr David R. Hamilton PhD, a world expert in Oxytocin (the ‘happy hormone’), is due to present.

About the World Kindness Movement:
The idea behind the World Kindness Movement (WKM) crystallised at a conference in Tokyo in 1997 when the Small Kindness Movement of Japan brought together like-minded kindness movements from around the world. The WKM was officially launched in Singapore on 18 November 2000 at the 3rd WKM Conference. The mission of the WKM is to inspire individuals towards greater kindness and to connect nations to create a kinder world.
