Manchester, UK – 3 October 2012 – M2, Europe’s leading independent managed print IT services company today announced the creation of a new regional office based in Wakefield, Yorkshire, just off J39 of the M1 at Calder Business Park.
M2 is a national business with offices in London, Manchester and Glasgow with a nationwide technical team across the UK serving over 7,000 customer sites. M2 has seen significant growth and sees material growth potential in vibrant cities such as Leeds, Sheffield, Derby, Leicester and Nottingham. The Company’s new Eastern office will enhance its service and support to these metropolitans.
The investment will see 10 new roles created primarily in sales, professional services and customer support but will also act as a regional hub for technical and field based IT operational teams. The regional office is expected to grow to 25 over the next 18 months.

Over coming months M2 plans a series of seminars and events to educate organisations to the waste, risks and costs related to office print and processes. M2 recently commissioned primary research with leading consultancy Quorcirca that highlighted:
- 88% of Finance Directors did not have transparency to the total cost of ownership of print
- 73% of organisations had not deployed a strategy nor policy to office print
- 81% of organisations were seeing reducing print volumes but growing print related costs
- 36% of organisations wanted to introduce and implement a managed print service within the next two years.
