From Sydney to the Olympics …Where Next for DJ?

DJ Jason Dupuy’s 3rd visit to The Ministry of Sound this Friday October 5th caps an incredible year for one of London’s most versatile and hard working music professionals.

Jason’s credits this year alone make impressive reading: 2 sets at the Wickerman Festival Opening party – the 2nd one after the Scissor Sisters, London 2012 Olympics Men’s Triathlon (televised) as well as an IOC (International Olympic Committee) Party and the Athletes Party to round it off.

Dance floors and his diary are both things that you’d bet on Jason being able to keep full thanks to a strong work ethic, versatility, and LOTS of experience not just in London and the UK but also Ibiza, Miami, New Zealand and Australia where the British DJ started his career.

The mention of this Friday’s appearance at London’s Ministry of Sound alongside Hernan Cattaneo reveals a man who’s most at home behind the decks. “Any DJ who’s played the Ministry of Sound knows what a great opportunity and experience it is. The people and the atmosphere are really special – it’s my 3rd time this year and I can’t wait. Come along and have a great time” says Jason.

As a professional DJ with over 1000 gigs, Jason’s career to date has seen him perform at clubs worldwide, on national radio, television, and at prestigious corporate events and celebrity weddings. Jason has played a diverse and extraordinary range of events to date which include the U.E.F.A. Champions League Final at Wembley 2011, the BBC Christmas Party and even Houses of Parliament!

Jason’s International experience includes El Divino's Ibiza, Miami Winter Music Conference and New Zealand national radio. The list of venues Jason’s played, the residencies (particularly in London) and the guest appearances is as long as your arm - see . He’s also played for and worked with an impressive list of celebrities including Craig David, Pixie Lott, Alesha Dixon, and many more.

Music and being a DJ is Jason’s life because when he’s not playing his own club and festival gigs he’s managing his own successful London based DJ and Disco Hire company Platinum Promotions .
