GLA partners including the London Resilience Team (LRT) and Local Authorities are using the solution to track, manage and report on issues

Cloud-based application underpins city-wide issue management

London – October 4th, 2012 - Xactium today announced that the Greater London Authority (GLA) has implemented its cloud-based application, Xactium Incident Manager to manage issues across the capital.

The GLA selected the application to enable the effective tracking, management and escalation of issues. The GLA was looking for a robust solution that could be rolled out across their London offices in a cost-effective time frame.

Xactium Incident Manager uses the flexibility of the cloud and is tailored to the GLA’s exact requirements around issue management. GLA partners including the London Resilience Team (LRT) and Local Authorities are using the solution to track, manage and report on issues arising across London.

The Incident Manager application maintains a central “single version of the truth” on all issues as they are dealt with and ensures each issue is allocated for resolution quickly and efficiently through in-built workflows. The system provides all stakeholders with full visibility of up-to-the-minute management information.

Andy Evans, Managing Director at Xactium says: “We’ve built on the strong Governance, Risk and Compliance functionality of Xactium’s Incident Manager application to deliver a system tailored to the GLA’s exacting requirements. Thanks to the scalability of the cloud, we’re ideally equipped to provide solutions to large numbers of users.”

Xactium’s Incident Manager application is an innovative, cloud-based GRC solution that is offered on a subscription basis and delivered on salesforce.com’s award winning social enterprise cloud computing platform, Force.com. Incident Manager provides an easy to use, secure and scalable web-based incident management solution, which encourages a collaborative approach to incident management through its organisation-wide visibility and remote accessibility. It can be rapidly adapted to an organization’s needs and rolled out instantaneously.
