Partnership on fast track

Fast Track Reclaim is delighted to announce it is now working in partnership with Hartlepool College of Further Education

More than a dozen young people could face a brighter future after a financial firm specialising in PPI claims joined forces with a college.

A new apprenticeship scheme has been launched thanks to a new partnership between Hartlepool College of further Education and financial services firm Fast Track Reclaim.

College bosses say the Teesside-based firm, which is a subsidiary of Quickly Group Holdings, is bucking the economic downturn by providing excellent employment opportunities for young apprentices.

Investing in employees is a key business objective at the firm and with over 20 youngsters studying NVQs in both business administration and legal services, Fast Track Reclaim is delighted to announce it is now working in partnership with Hartlepool College of Further Education.

Gemma Taylor, of Fast Track Reclaim, said “The company is very pleased that we are in a position to offer these job opportunities for youngsters at a time of recession. We know how difficult it is for students to access these types of training programmes.

“The work experience is invaluable and will support their future careers whether that is with this company or if they decide to move on to other employers. I am delighted to be working in partnership with Hartlepool College of Further Education to deliver these opportunities.”

Fast Track Reclaim apprentice Andrew Innerd, who has been with the company for five months, said: “I’ve really appreciated this chance to gain a qualification and work experience.

“I enjoy the work and with the business growing there is likely to be an opportunity to gain a full time job here when I qualify.”

Fast Track Reclaim which already employs over 60 staff is now looking to expand the business to provide their customers with a free personal insurance review.

Graham McPhail, director of apprenticeships at Hartlepool College college of Further Education, said: “It is fantastic that a company like Fast Track Reclaim invests in so many young apprentices.

“An apprenticeship provides the best of both worlds, the invaluable work experience while at the same time studying a package of qualifications that will support the student in their chosen career.

“What is more pleasing is that it is now possible for an apprentice to progress onto a higher apprenticeship where they can combine work experience with studies in higher education.”
