Excel Networking Solutions, the copper and optical cabling infrastructure provider, has introduced a selection of new PDU’s to its existing product family after listening to feedback from its customers as to what they require.

The range has been expanded to incorporate IEC320 style sockets. It also has C13, C19 or BS1353 3 pin sockets which come with either a C14/C20 plug alternatively with 32 Amp commando plug.

These new products allow for easy connection to several units and the ability to link the PDU easily into a UPS. This makes them perfect for a Data Centre environment as the majority of network switches and server environments will deploy an IEC320 C14 (10Amp) or C20 (16Amp) plug for the mains supply.

Simon Robinson, Product Manager at Excel comments, “We stock large quantities and sell hundreds of PDU units every month and we already have an extensive range of PDUs with a wide choice of connectivity, with the addition of these latest models our range now covers most power requirements.”

Simon concluded “As well as the choice of standard PDUs, Excel also offers a modular range which introduces flexibility and design options to suit your power requirements with swappable socket modules and our range of Intelligent PDUs allow customers to choose to monitor or manage their power requirements.”
