Security & Governance Theatre, 17 & 18 October 2012

LONDON, UK.—15. October, 2012—Bit9, the global leader in Advanced Threat Protection, today announced the details of two presentations to be held at IP EXPO, which takes place on 17-18 October in the Earls Court 2 Exhibition Centre, London.

Harry Sverdlove, chief technology officer of Bit9, will speak about the “Future of Cyberattacks: What You Should Know About Flame, RSA, and Other Advanced Persistent Threats”. In this presentation on Wednesday 17 October at 15:10 in the Security & Governance theatre, he will discuss the techniques and approaches that modern cyberattackers are using, why traditional defences do not work, and what organisations can do to stop these attacks.

Bit9’s second presentation titled "Using Application Control Against Emerging Cyber Threats" will be delivered by Mandeep Sandhu, technical account manager, on Thursday 18 October at 15:10 in the Security & Governance theatre. Attendees will learn how trust-based application control is proving to be the most effective solution to combat zero-day attacks and other APTs. Sandhu will demonstrate how to implement a trust-based application control solution and use real-world examples to show how this approach has blocked the most advanced attacks.

Bit9 will exhibit on stand A54, and demonstrate the latest version of its trust-based security solution, which provides cloud-driven trust policy controls and offers the highest level of protection across servers, desktops and laptops, and virtual environments.
