At Vent-Axia we are keen to support Movember to help raise awareness and funds for men’s health – specifically prostate and testicular cancer.

Employees at Sussex-based Vent-Axia the UK’s leading ventilation company, are set to support Movember to help break the silence and raise vital funds for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer. At the beginning of November, male members of staff at Vent-Axia will become Mo Bros for 30 days, as they pledge to support the global charity initiative Movember, which is committed to ‘changing the face of men’s health’, one moustache at a time!, Mo Bros will start November with clean-shaven faces, then grow and groom their moustaches, to become ‘walking, talking billboards’ that raise awareness of two often-overlooked men’s health issues, prostate and testicular cancer.

Vent-Axia staff based at both the firm’s Crawley and Dudley manufacturing plants will take part in Movember, with the Mo Bros supported by the Mo Sistas. But, keen to spread the Movember word Vent-Axia is also encouraging its Electrical Wholesalers and Electrical Contractors to come on board. Wholesalers who would like to join Vent-Axia’s Movember campaign should visit where they can register to join the Vent-Axia team. Once signed up electrical wholesalers and their customers can enter Vent-Axia’s Movember competition to find the best picture of a Mo Bros moustache. At the end of the month Vent-Axia will pick a winner and give the winning electrician and their electrical wholesaler each a fantastic prize.

“At Vent-Axia we are keen to support Movember to help raise awareness and funds for men’s health – specifically prostate and testicular cancer. Our employees at Vent-Axia are excited about taking part in Movember and we hope our electrical wholesalers and their customers will take part too. We can’t wait to start receiving the Mo Bros pictures,” says Lee Nurse, Marketing Director at Vent-Axia.

Finally to show further support to Movember, Vent-Axia is donating £1 to the charity for every Silent Fan it sells during Movember – “It’s our contribution to breaking the silence around prostate cancer and testicular cancer,” adds Lee Nurse.

With the lowest sound rating on the market operating at just 16dB(A) the Silent Fan is the quietest ever intermittent bathroom and toilet fan – a significant 75% quieter than typical intermittent bathroom fans. Simple to install and maintain, the Silent Fan is the perfect choice for every home. Designed for wall, ceiling, window and panel mounting it will also fit into existing 100mm ducts, making it ideal for replacement applications.
