QSP, a leading provider of enterprise-wide financial
information systems, today announced a partnership with AFP
Technology, which will provide FormScape to manage the
output of documents from its QSP Financials product suite.
Under the reseller agreement, AFP provides training for QSP
technical and sales staff on FormScape - a tool for
creating, managing, distributing and archiving documents
from business applications.
QSP can now supply FormScape to its customers as part of the
QSP Financials package, which is a fully integrated suite of
financial information systems designed for enterprises with
large user populations and transaction volumes.
When QSP provides the software package, it can insert
triggers into the print files, which will allow customers to
fully exploit the power and flexibility of FormScape in
their organisation. FormScape accepts output from QSP
Financials and reformats the data to produce user-friendly
documents that can then be distributed to the point of need.
"The partnership means that QSP continues to increase its
product portfolio to better serve its customers and make it
easier for those that need a workflow solution," said QSP
group marketing director David Pinches.
Documents such as invoices and reports can be printed, faxed
or electronically archived. Using FormScape's visual
development tool, QSP consultants can quickly build in
intelligent functions, which automatically activate
decisions such as document type or output destination,
depending on the content of the incoming data.
The reseller agreement initially covers the UK, with the
potential to expand internationally, complementing the
extensive reseller network AFP already has, with QSP's
operations supporting Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the

products through partnerships with developers of 'best of

"QSP is an ideal business partner for AFP. It has an

to company documentation."
