London, UK — 15 November 2012 — ForeScout Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of automated security control solutions for Global 1000 enterprises and government organisations, today announced that its flagship CounterACT appliance was awarded the Network Access Control Solution of the Year at the Computing Security Awards ceremony in London, which took place on 8 November 2012.

ForeScout won NAC Solution of the Year after receiving more online votes than any other nominee in the category. The biggest group of nominators and voters were the readers of Computing Security Magazine - individuals who buy, specify and use security solutions in their working lives. International voters also participated and the poll results revealed ForeScout CounterACT to be the preferred NAC solution overall.

Dave Bonner, Computing Security Awards event manager, commented, “Now in its third year, the Computing Security Awards recognise the products, services and companies that have been most effective at protecting organisations from IT security threats. ForeScout was the clear winner in the Network Access Control Solution of the Year category, and we are delighted to pay tribute to the company’s continued growth, innovation and success in that area.”

“We are honoured to be presented with this award, which is a testament to our innovative solutions and furthers our visibility as a network security leader offering a best-in-class NAC platform,” said Gord Boyce, CEO of ForeScout. “ForeScout CounterACT offers incredible real-time visibility and control that delivers value not just for security and compliance automation, but for BYOD as well. We encourage IT organisations to take CounterACT 7 for a test-drive, so they can witness the extensive business benefits, first hand.”

The Computing Security NAC Solution of the Year award follows similar industry accolades for ForeScout in 2012 including the SC Magazine Reader Trust Award for Best NAC Product.
