A J Wells & Sons, a leading manufacturer of high quality stoves and vitreous enamel products, is implementing an integrated CRM and SharePoint system from m-hance to more efficiently manage its global sales and dealer network. m-hance’s system, which will be tightly integrated into AJ Wells’ existing ERP solution, will reduce sales order processing time by up to one week and provide a single, worldwide view of its customer pipeline and manufacturing processes to increase profitability. The system will go-live in January 2013.

A J Wells sought a flexible and integrated CRM and SharePoint solution to streamline inefficient manual-based processes for its 170 staff. It also needed to provide its global sales and dealership network in Europe, North America and Japan with real-time visibility of its order pipeline to improve customer service and increase the profitability of its sales and marketing activities. After considering Salesforce.com, A J Wells decided that an integrated CRM solution from m-hance powered by Scribe’s integration platform was more closely suited to its business needs.

Jon Bartholomew, IT Consultant, at A J Wells & Sons, explains, “We wanted a more fluid solution which was easy to use so that we could make customisations ourselves. m-hance was chosen due to its considerable experience of implementing CRM projects and because its flexible and user-friendly solution could seamlessly integrate into our Syspro ERP system which was key.”

m-hance’s solution will enable A J Wells to improve operational efficiency and speed-up its manufacturing processes by automating a number of manually-intensive procedures. In addition, its global sales team will be able to remotely access accurate information in real-time relating to orders, pipeline forecasts, serial number tracking and product availability from one single, consistent source of data.

Bartholomew comments, “Our sales representatives will now be able to instantly submit orders remotely to our head office and provide acknowledgment to customers whilst they are present with them. This will reduce our sales order processing time by approximately one week, significantly improving profitability and giving us a rapid return on our investment.”

Bartholomew continues, “m-hance’s solution will also make a dramatic difference to our productivity levels. With easy access to all of our key information in one place, staff will be able to process orders and respond to queries faster than ever before. This will significantly enhance our customer service levels and provide us with greater visibility of our sales pipeline and forecasts so we can make more informed decisions in the future.”

Furthermore, m-hance will be working closely with A J Wells to extend its current project by developing a dealer portal to provide its partner network with real-time information relating to service cases and sales orders. This will include integration with SharePoint for document control and approval, further improving the accessibility of organisation-wide information.
