Awards recognise those demonstrating excellence across seven categories during the past 12 months



11th March 2013 – At a gala dinner in London on Friday night, Insight UK hosted its Channel Partner Awards evening recognising those partners who have shown excellence across seven categories during the past 12 months.

Now in their 5th year and based on votes from the Insight UK sales teams, the annual awards are announced at a ceremony following the Insight Technology Show in London which was attended by thousands of the global technology leader’s UK clients.

Among those recognised for their endeavours were Lenovo, Symantec, Dell, Polycom, HP, Adobe and Cisco.

With the votes having been counted it was announced that Lenovo had scooped the award for Hardware Partner of the Year, with Symantec taking the Award in the Software category.

Praised for its work within the Public Sector, Dell topped the list here, while the award for Specialist Partner of the Year went to Polycom.

On the evening two awards were also presented to individuals who had stood out during the past 12 months. At Adobe, Nicola Chenery was commended as Partner Account Manager of the Year for Software, with Gary Read of Cisco getting the nod as Partner Account Manager of the Year for Hardware.

As the evening drew to a close HP was awarded Overall Partner of the Year to rapturous applause.
