April 9th 2013
FOLLOWING the success of last year’s inaugural event, the UK’s market leading food recruitment website is delighted to announce the YFJ People Awards will take place again this year.

In association with Recruiter Magazine, the YourFoodJob People Awards is the only awards ceremony dedicated to celebrating the exceptional work carried out by the finest HR & recruitment practitioners of the food and beverage industry.
November 6th 2013 is the date for your diaries with the event once again being held at the luxurious 5-star venue, The Lowry Hotel in Manchester.

Tony Allen, General Manager at, said: “The decision to continue with the awards was really a very easy one. Last year we entertained over 150 HR and Recruitment professionals from the leading food manufacturing, food retail and foodservice sectors and the feedback was so good that we had to do it again”.

Winners last year included Allied Bakeries, Morrisons, Heinz and Kraft Foods, and the expectation in terms of calibre this year will be equally strong with major food businesses already showing real interest in attending and entering award categories.

Stephen Jones, Director at said: “For a first event, last year went well beyond our own high expectations, but for 2013 the plan is to do it bigger and better than ever and we will entertain and reward the cream of food industry HR talent”.

The full list of awards is close to being finalised and a further announcement on this is expected in the next couple of weeks.
