IML Australia is delighted to announce that it has been awarded two National Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) Awards including the highly coverted MEA Platinum Award for Excellence. This national award is the most prestigious that can be awarded to an organisation in the highly competitive Australian events and meetings industry.
The Awards were presented to IML (which has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland) in front of 500 event industry professionals from across Australia on Tuesday 7th May at special Awards Evening hosted at the Darwin Convention Centre.
The Platinum Award is given to the highest scoring awards submission across all Award categories.
According to Pete Eyre, Managing Director IML Australia, “This represents an extraordinary achievement for our company. It provides a glowing endorsement of both our solutions and the specialised event services that our dedicated team deliver to our clients on a day in and day out basis. We are absolutely delighted to have achieved such recognition from the leading players in our industry.”
For its submission to the Awards, IML Australia had to provide extensive information for scrutiny on all aspects of its business. This included a profile of the business, case studies of individual events, how the organisation works together, challenges faced throughout the year right through to career development within the company.
About The MEA Industry Awards
The MEA Industry Awards recognise excellence and best business practice in the Meetings & Events Industry. They encourage industry professionals to excel in the achievement of their business and personal goals, and reward those who achieve outstanding results. Members self-nominate for an Award by addressing a range of criteria that are relevant to the particular category or categories they are entering. The submissions are then judged by a panel of industry and independent judges.
