ERGON Culinary Experience’s Gastro Sailing around Greek Islands
Dates: 13th to 18th June, with two days afloat
Three Sixty Degrees invite you to test drive a beguiling new bespoke culinary voyage around Pelion ‘Playground of the Greek Gods’ - the lushest coastline – to the sparkling waters of North Sporades Marine Park, spotting monk seals and dolphins.
Day one: 13th June. 06:15am Departure flight from London Stanstead, arrive Thessaloniki @ 11:30hrs. Transfer to city centre’s most exciting restaurant ERGON for lunch. Meet founders and Greece’s TV Masterchef, Dimitris Skarmoutsos. Private escort transfer south to Volos; check into luxury Xenia Volos Domotel (4 nights). Walking tour of Volos’ legendary seafront scene, with ‘tsipouro’ tasting (grappa) followed by dinner in seafront fish taverna.
Day two: 14th June. 08:00am transfer (with sailing kit bag*) board motor yacht Beneteau Sense 50’ ANEMOLIA (2013) at Amaliapoli marina for breakfast briefing, sailing to Pelion peninsula’s pretty Palio Trikeri islet, walking tour of this gorgeous car free paradise. Cooking class at Taverna Isalos. Sailing onto Skiathos island, past stunning ‘Mamma Mia’ locations to moor in picturesque Skiathos town with sunset wine tastings. Dinner at newly opened ERGON restaurant.
Overnight on board (hotel rooms optional*).
Day three: 15th June. Breakfast on board, swimming and snorkelling at pristine Milia Beach; afternoon voyage to Skopelos island, lunching outdoors at a tavern in Agnontas. Leisurely walk through Skopelos Town. Dining experiences in selected local restaurants and bars. Overnight on board.
Day four: 16th June. Breakfast afloat, sail to idyllic Staflylos Bay for snorkelling and swimming (with tender boat). Hands on cooking class on boat; either tuna carapaccio or dolmades with special guest chef. Set sail for Volos, relaxing time before sunset drinks back on dry land. Return to hotel before a farewell dinner and gifts.
Day five: 17th June. Departure day. Traditional breakfast in Volos, free time until 1pm; private transfer to Thessaloniki airport for 16:55 departure to London Stanstead.
(*Our main luggage can be left at the hotel, and travel on board with capsule bag of necessities such as swimwear, deck shoes, headgear, camera. Towels, snorkelling kits and beach mats are all provided.)
