As part of its development of Internet-based communications,
Norwich Union has installed Internet access from NETCOM, the
leading independent Internet service provider, across all
its life and pensions sales branch offices to ensure
consistency of communication between Norwich Union and its
business partners. NETCOM Internet access is a key component
of Norwich Union's development of its new stand-alone web
site designed specifically for Independent Financial
Advisers (IFAs), Norwich Union's major source of life and
pensions business.

To encourage IFAs to use this new communication medium to
gain competitive advantage, NETCOM and Norwich Union have
arranged a special Internet access deal. In a trade
promotional campaign, Norwich Union is offering IFAs the
opportunity to order NETCOM Internet software and
connectivity either direct from NETCOM or through Norwich
Union sales consultants, for easy access to the new Norwich
Union web site, and the Internet as a whole.

Nigel Hopwood, electronic markets manager at Norwich Union

including proposal forms, key feature documents and
technical specifications, removing the need for them to keep
