WD Bathrooms, a successful online retailer of high quality and high value bathroom suite and shower supplies, has recently launched their new website developed by award-winning full service ecommerce agency Metakinetic.

With the majority of WD Bathrooms business generated online and with over ten years’ experience of online trading, they knew that when they saw a drop in organic web traffic following a move to a Magento solution they needed to develop an entirely new ecommerce solution quickly to keep ahead of the competition. WD Bathrooms searched for a specialist ecommerce agency and selected Metakinetic who met all of their requirements. The speed of development and release of the new site, which was within a few weeks from start to finish, together with the on-going support provided by Metakinetic were key factors in the decision to choose the ecommerce agency. Using its in-house design team Metakinetic has also evolved the WD Bathroom brand and worked within the WD Bathrooms budget.

The new solution is built using the latest release of Metakinetic’s ecommerce solution – MetaCommerce. This technology was developed by Metakinetic in the UK specifically to address the needs of UK retailers. The features and functionality offered by MetaCommerce not only meet the diverse needs of retailers from a variety of sectors, but the modern technology and supporting development team also provide the flexibility to tailor each solution based upon an individual retailer's unique requirements. Mark Wilson, Director of WD Bathrooms, said ‘We are delighted with the new site and we have already seen an increase in the ecommerce conversion rate and
traffic in less than a month’.

WD Bathrooms now has an ecommerce site which not only looks good but will boost sales and help the company to remain competitive in this highly competitive marketplace.

Darren Bull, Director of Metakinetic, commented ‘We are delighted to launch this new ecommerce site and to have been chosen by WD Bathrooms as their on-going ecommerce partner. We are committed to providing WD Bathrooms with a genuinely effective management solution that we know will improve their ROI and also increase customer conversion.’
