The gaming industry experts behind have shown their support for Responsible Gaming Education Week (RGEW), currently taking place to increase awareness of problem gambling amongst industry employees and customers.

It has been reported by the American Gaming Association, that casino properties and gaming companies worldwide are all behind the event, taking place August 5th-9th 2013. Initially created by the AGA in 1998, RGEW was set up to promote responsible gaming nationwide. The annual event works on the principle that education is essential to providing responsible play. This year’s theme is “How do you say responsible gaming?” promoting the message that regardless of the language gaming employees and customers speak, the important thing is that they all understand responsible gaming.
