What People are saying about AIM Conferences:
Last academic year AIM Conferences, founded by Cambridge graduate Isabel McCann, hosted a Conference on King Lear for A Level students at the Cambridge Union Debating Chamber. One teacher later commented:
"[Your conference was] a really enjoyable day [from which] we all feel we have taken so much (including staff!) Our A Level results were really good for this module - I know for certain that the students used the knowledge they had gained from the day to inform their exam answers - so thank you once again for the opportunity to attend." Laura Feeney, English Teacher, Our Lady & St Chad's
After another conference, which was for Sixth Form Teachers, Duncan Piper, founder of the Young Leaders’ Consultancy, wrote:
“AIM Conferences marks an exciting and ambitious movement in education - they ensure that we don't continually reinvent the wheel up and down the country. Instead of working in bubbles, AIM Conferences allows inspired and thoughtful teachers, businesses and education professionals to come together to share (and develop) their new ideas and strategies to ensure a twenty-first century education truly fit for purpose. The conference I attended was an incredibly worthwhile and productive experience, and I recommend them to all educationalists who want to impact their schools in a very real and tangible way.” Duncan Piper, Director - The Young Leaders' Consultancy
Keynote Speakers at our upcoming November Conferences include DR ROWAN WILLIAMS, Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge and former Archbishop of Canterbury, DR DAVID STARKEY, the distinguished Historian and LORD ROBERT WINSTON, Britain’s most famous Biologist. A wide range of other eminent academics, as well as actors and text book writers, will also speak.
Most of our conferences take place in the world-famous Cambridge University Union Debating Chamber. This distinguished venue alone is enough to provide some of our young guests with academic inspiration and we can help schools to arrange to tour a Cambridge College with their students after the end of the conference. Other venues in Cambridge include Sidney Sussex and Lucy Cavendish Colleges and in London we host events in Holborn and Bloomsbury.
Our autumn conferences focus on:
• Tudor History for A Level
• A Level Biology
• GCSE Religious Education
• Pride and Prejudice
• A View from The Bridge
• AS Level Psychology
• The Sixth Form: Results and Preparing for University (Teachers Only)

The Schools We Host:
In less than one year we have hosted schools from all over the country - indeed, a Classics teacher from Erskine Stewart's Melville Schools in Edinburgh has attended one of our Cambridge conferences and arranged to return for another.
Whilst we will welcome teachers and students from Eton to two of our conferences this autumn, we go to some lengths to ensure that our conferences are affordable to and attended by students from all economic backgrounds. A list of some of our customers can be found here:
We would love to tell you more, or welcome you to a conference of your choice!
