Talk & Vision, a KPN subsidiary, has been awarded the Polycom RealPresence Services Specialisation Certificate. The Certificate expresses Polycom’s recognition of the MAVIS support and maintenance services provided by Talk & Vision.
Talk & Vision was already a Polycom Platinum Partner, having attained the highest status that Polycom grants its partners. Polycom recently expanded its certification programme and developed additional certificates for specific specialisations for its Platinum Partners. Talk & Vision has earned the Certificate for the RealPresence Services Specialisation.
Attaining the certificate involved various steps. First, Talk & Vision developed a test lab where client situations could be simulated in full. The personnel then received extensive training from Polycom. Helpdesk staff members took an intensive training course that lasted a week and a half, while the field engineers spent over two weeks on theory and practice lessons. Supplementing these training activities, the Polycom programme manager makes a site visit to Talk & Vision. All the processes and tools were reviewed and the Service Level Agreement was checked. The final step was for Talk & Vision to prove that they also had the certified knowledge and expertise on Unified Communications and network solutions including Microsoft Competencies.
With the Certificate, both Talk & Vision and Polycom guarantee the quality of the support and maintenance services provided by MAVIS Support. This hallmark of quality shows that the organisation has professional expertise and well-trained people and is capable of simulating an incident in its own lab. Talk & Vision was elated to receive the RealPresence Services Certificate. Joost Deckers, managing director of Talk & Vision, states: “I am very proud of this Certificate. It shows that we are investing the knowledge and expertise of our company and it offers our clients additional assurances.”
Polycom is also satisfied with the Certificate that Talk & Vision earned. “Talk & Vision has once again shown that they have the quality and knowledge to support our products for our joint clients,” says Hilde Verlee, Regional Channel Manager for the Benelux at Polycom.
Talk & Vision wants to achieve certification in more supplementary specialisations in future to continue optimising its products and services.
