Trimega Charity Skydive

A combination of their scientists’ Movember moustache growing, staff wearing onesies for Children in Need and a member of their accounts department braving a skydive for NSPCC, have meant that the team at Trimega have been striving to help children last month.

Given Trimega’s main operations focus on analysing hair for drugs and alcohol misuse, it seemed fitting that two of the events bore some connection to follicle challenges.

When asked about the dive, Thomas Dowell, 31, from Trimega’s finance department, “I’ve always wanted to do it, and when the NSPCC offered me the chance, I took it up. To jump from 12,000ft was exhilarating and, yes, a little hair-raising too!

The weather conditions were good and it was an amazing experience, though I’m not rushing to repeat it just yet!

The Trimega team back at the GHexagon Tower laboratories in Manchester, were more than happy that I turned up on the Monday and to pay up on their sponsorship.”

Just short of £1,000 was raised by the Trimega staff.

This week Investors in People (IIP) announced that Trimega had gained Silver status, “illustrating forward thinking and cascading best practice through every level of the organisation”.
