London, UK and Detroit, Michigan. (24 January 2014) Creative branding and marketing agency The Frameworks has strengthened its offering in Japan by entering into a partnership with advertising agency ADK, headquartered in Tokyo.

Under the terms of the partnership agreement, the two agencies plan to pool expertise and resources, working together to win new business and develop existing client relationships.

Both agencies believe they have much to gain from their new partner. As B2B corporate branding experts, The Frameworks will give ADK access to new creative development skills across different media, while providing invaluable insights into Western culture and attitudes towards brand development. ADK’s knowledge of the Japanese market, meanwhile, will be of enormous benefit as The Frameworks continues to grow its global business.

The Frameworks and ADK have already collaborated on work for a client common to both organizations, and both companies also work independently with a range of Japanese clients – The Frameworks most notably with the test and measurement division of Yokogawa.

The partnership comes at an exciting stage in The Frameworks’ history. It recently made a number of key appointments in both its London and Detroit offices, including Creative Directors for both offices and a Head of Commercial Operations in London.

The company is also relocating its Detroit office to larger premises this month in response to continued expansion: the business grew by more than 40% in 2013.

Managing Partner Lawrence James explained: “News on the Japanese economy is starting to become more positive, and The Frameworks is continuing to increase its business activity in the country. We have a lot in common with ADK in terms of culture and how we do business, and their understanding of Japanese media and business will ensure that we’re in a position to be able to expand our offering and grow our client base.
