Experts in online and mobile gambling, SuperCasino, have responded to new reports on the growth of mobile app gambling in the UK market since 2012.

Two recent studies on the UK gambling market have revealed that mobile betting is leading a number of changes in the UK gambling industry, with a huge growth in revenue seen between 2012 and 2013, reports A report from the UK Gambling Commission reveals that 55% of UK residents gambled in the four weeks before they were surveyed in 2013, with 60% of men and 50% of women gambling at least once a month and most respondents playing once a week.

This number demonstrates a sharp increase in players engaging in online and gambling via mobile devices, with the number rising from 26% in 2012 and predicted to reach over 40% by the end of 2014. The same company reports that year on year revenue for mobile gambling increased 298 between 2012 and 2013.
