CityReach Named Inaugural European Member to InterNAP's
Preferred Co-location Provider Programme

InterNAP Network Services (Nasdaq: INAP - news), the
high-performance Internet connectivity provider, announced
today that it has signed an agreement with CityReach
International, a leading European co-location provider, for
space in its Amsterdam site to house its first international
P-NAP® facility. The agreement makes London-based CityReach
the first European company to join InterNAP's Preferred
Co-location Provider Programme.

The agreement enables InterNAP to co-locate its customers in
the CityReach facility for Ethernet connectivity to its
P-NAP, as well as provide CityReach's Secure Internet
exchange (TM) (SiX) facilities, which offers a suite of
value-added services on top of its carrier-neutral
co-location facilities. In addition, CityReach customers
will be able to choose InterNAP's high performance
connectivity services, which provide faster, more reliable
performance than conventional Internet service. This
addition continues InterNAP's strategy of building a global
inventory of state-of-the- art co-location facilities in
which to house its customers with mission- critical needs.

"A number of challenges exist as the Internet scales to meet
the exploding demand for service and bandwidth throughout
Europe," said Ralph O'Dell, Chief Operating Officer for
CityReach International. "One third of European traffic
still must travel to the United States in order to connect
to the network that will ultimately deliver the traffic to
its destination back in Europe.

InterNAP's model will help keep local traffic local and
route that traffic along the most direct path possible.
InterNAP has proven this managed Internet routing technology
in the United States, and we're pleased to partner with them
to bring this quality of service model to Europe."

"This was a strategic decision for InterNAP; one not only
based on quality standards, but also on the strength of the
relationship to help us grow our business into the European
marketplace," said Tony Naughtin, President and CEO of
InterNAP Network Services.

"CityReach is an ideal partner for InterNAP because the
community that they've developed in their state-of-the-art
facilities represents a web of infrastructure and service
providers that will help define a higher quality standard
for Internet performance in Europe. We believe that this
relationship constitutes one of the cornerstones on which to
build InterNAP's European footprint and service model, and
is a major milestone in achieving InterNAP's stated
objective of establishing European operations by year end."

The 80,000-square-foot Amsterdam site offers secure,
reliable and redundant facilities for co-location services
such as carrier neutrality, seven-stage security,
multi-redundant power supply, environmental controls, and
fire detection and suppression. It also offers
around-the-clock technical support, equipment installation,
secure data storage, office space and other enhanced network
services unique to the industry.

InterNAP's connectivity service routes data to and from
businesses across the Internet in a manner that minimizes
data loss by avoiding the Internet's conventional traffic
exchange process known as 'peering.' Private and public
'peering' arrangements between backbone providers lead not
only to congestion at peering points, but also to routing
inefficiencies, two factors that significantly reduce the
speed of data transmission across the Internet. InterNAP's
P-NAP® facilities and ASsimilator(TM) technology orchestrate
the routing of mission-critical data in a faster, more
reliable, and more managed fashion than conventional
Internet technology.
