The Table Linkbase is a fundamental part of the CRD IV and Solvency II taxonomies, and a reliable implementation is vital

Oxford, 20th March, 2014. XBRL International Inc. have just announced the approval of the Table Linkbase Specification v1.0 as a Recommendation. CoreFiling are privileged to have driven this specification over the past 18 months to its successful recognition as an international standard.

The first Reference Implementation of the newly released Table Linkbase 1.0 specification is CoreFiling’s True North® Table Linkbase Processor, announced today. Full support for the recommended specification is now available in version 1.2 of the True North Table Linkbase Processor.
The Table Linkbase is a fundamental part of the CRD IV and Solvency II taxonomies, and a reliable implementation is vital for accurate reproduction of the table structure as designed by the regulator.

Jon Siddle, Lead Editor of the Table Linkbase Specification, commented: “The approval of the Table Linkbase specification marks a significant milestone, promoting market consistency in closed form reporting using XBRL. The Table Linkbase underpins the recent breed of DPM-style taxonomies, and the specification provides a single authoritative definition of their tables."
