Appointment of NADFAS President

The Trustees of The National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS) are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Loyd Grossman OBE FSA as their new President.

Loyd is well known as a heritage campaigner and art historian-interests he has incorporated in his roles as Chairman of the Churches Conservation Trust, and Chairman of The Heritage Alliance.
He is passionate about the role that volunteers play not only in the arts and culture, but in many aspects of society, and has seen first-hand the value of NADFAS’s contribution with the work of the Church Recorders.

“I look forward to working with the thousands of NADFAS volunteers to help them promote the many ways in which the decorative and fine arts bring both personal fulfilment and enrich our society.”

National Chairman Mrs Jill Makepeace-Warne

“ Loyd Grossman’s huge commitment to volunteering particularly in the education and volunteering sector will not only raise awareness and encourage more people to give their time, but will highlight the valuable contribution they make, helping to conserve the past for future generations to enjoy.”
