Jan Heybroek, the person credited with winning the first IT outsourcing contract for EDS outside the USA, has been appointed as ITNET's first European sales director.
Based at the Brussels office, Heybroek is tasked with building ITNET's European operations through acquisitions, new contracts and by growing existing accounts.
Heybroek was previously vice president facilities management with Origin International, but has spent over 20 years in IT outsourcing. He has worked for IBM, ICL and Origin on 50 major outsourcing and acquisition projects. He negotiated the EDS deal with RSV, its first ever outsourcing contract in Europe.
