Football fans worldwide have been waiting for their team’s colours to be revealed. The Premier League kits are slowly being released team by team.

Arsenal, FA Cup Winners, have revealed the three new designs that will be used during the 2014-15 campaign. The home kit remains the traditional red and white colour scheme. The away kit displays a yellow and blue design and a two tone blue strip will be used for the away cup games.

Teams such as Southampton, West Ham United and Liverpool seem to be embracing the past with their new designs.

For example, the new Hammers shirt is similar to the kit worn in 1985-6. This is when West Ham had their best placed top flight finish.

Liverpool released a third kit featuring a red and black chequered sash on a black and grey background. A black kit for Liverpool was adopted in 2002-03 and has been frequently used since.

The new home jersey for Everton features the usual blue and white but with a retro collar.

Queen’s Park Rangers, in the same colours as Everton, have opted for blue and white hoops.

Other teams are still to unveil this season’s colours include Chelsea, Stoke City, Crystal Palace, Manchester United and Aston Villa.

A spokesperson from Team Colours, comments: ‘The revealing of new kits is an exciting time for sport lovers. Fans get to see what their favourite team will be wearing for the rest of the season.
