The aim with the league is to bring together the sales community, spark some lively debate and learn some lessons

Sports and sales combine to understand the best ways to motivate a team

London, UK 21 August 2014 – Xactly, pioneer in SaaS-based compensation and performance management solutions, today announced the launch of the Xactly Sales Performance League (XSPL), designed to bring together sales teams across industries and verticals to share best practice and experience, as well as inspire some healthy competition.

The league aims to takes this a step further, by analysing the motivational techniques behind some of the world’s most successful sports team and how they can be applied to sales.

The league will focus on three main topics:

The XSPL blog – Through links between current football news and sales, the blog with offer both salespeople and their employers tips on how to stay motivated and reach quota.
• Hot or Not Industries – Based on the latest industry news and public perception Xactly will share regular Hot or Not tweets via @XactlyEMEA giving salespeople a central news hub
• Transfer Window – Also shared on the Xactly Blog, the XSPL will monitor the market – highlighting any high profile moves and discussing the impact this might have on a particular industry or company
