September 16, 2014 — Wolters Kluwer is offering a subscription to its CCH Corporation Tax software to users of Sage Corporation Tax that are looking to switch, following the termination of the agreement with Thomson Reuters to resell Sage Onesource (see Note below).

Until 31 October 2014 Wolters Kluwer will match existing prices to switchers so they can have the full advantages of CCH Corporation Tax at no additional cost and with no upfront fee. Free training for up to two users will also be given.

CCH Corporation Tax is undergoing a major enhancement programme which has so far included a detailed profit and loss account, together with a number of time-saving features, the most important of which is the integration with CCH Accounts Production.

Simon Crompton, MD of CCH Software and Wolters Kluwer UK Executive Director, says: “CCH Corporation Tax handles all the most common corporation tax return types. It offers the flexibility and functionality of more expensive systems in a cost-effective package. Reliable, automated iXBRL tagging ensures high success rates for the first time filing of corporation tax returns.”

Two recent enhancements have also been added to CCH Corporation Tax that reduce risk and save time in the provision of compliance services by accounting firms.
A Groups module allows users to see an overview of a tax group’s loss position for a period of account from one central location. Associated group relief claims and surrenders can be completed for each group company from this one location. This helps to reduce the need for an external spreadsheet and reduces the risk associated with re-keying of data.

The second enhancement is an integrated Deferred Tax calculation that reduces the risks associated with duplication of data. Much of the tax-related information that is required for the calculation of Deferred Tax is held within CCH Corporation Tax and is automatically fed into the calculation providing a user with an accurate result to assist in the preparation of a company’s financial statements.

The next phase will provide an upgraded balance sheet area that will include items such as an improved fixed asset additions and disposals analysis and additional integration with CCH Accounts Production.

CCH Corporation Tax software is part of a suite of software products from Wolters Kluwer that share data through CCH Central, making it possible to report, access and use tax, accounting and practice management information across an entire practice.

Sage users that would like to switch to CCH Corporation Tax can provide their details, quoting Sage CT in the Ask us a question box, using this link:
