Arsenal – Tottenham Hotspur match sees debut of match day live blogs run by Snack Media

London, 29th September 2014 – Following the announcement of Europcar’s ground-breaking brand partnership with Arsenal Football Club in August, the club’s official car and van rental partner has embarked on an ambitious programme of live match day blogs. Saturday’s North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur saw the first of these interactive sessions, with high levels of fan engagement through and the blog.

Managed by digital and social media experts, Snack Media, the day’s campaign activity included live blogging before, during and after the game interspersed with content captured directly from the Emirates and competitions to win Europcar Prestige car hire.

Key stats:

• A reach of 4.5 million accounts across social media platforms
• Arsenal fans spent over 600,000 minutes on Europcar branded content on Arsenal Mania and The network
• Hundreds of entrants to the Europcar competitions
