New Barracuda Load Balancer to Provide Ultimate Cross-Data Centre Failover Solution for High Availability, Mission Critical Hosting.

Nottingham, 2nd October 2014: CWCS Managed Hosting have partnered with Barracuda to bring their new, powerful load balancing solution for its Supreme Cloud and Dedicated Servers.

Customers of CWCS will now be able to securely load balance their websites and applications across CWCS’s two privately owned data centres, along with its US and Canadian data centre facilities if required.

The Barracuda Load Balancer provides the ultimate failover solution for mission critical hosting. The enterprise-grade managed loading service supports even the most demanding workloads, allowing for increased efficiency and reliability of websites and applications.

Karl Mendez, MD of CWCS Managed Hosting said, “The enterprise-grade Load Balancer enables our new and existing Supreme Cloud and Dedicated Server customers to optimise the performance of their servers to gain high availability for their websites and applications”.

The highly intelligent Load Balancer increases performance by distributing traffic evenly across multiple servers based on the load being exerted on each server. It continuously performs health checks on all servers connected. It also prevents planned outages for software or hardware maintenance on individual servers from disrupting service to end-users.

The Barracuda Load Balancer is highly secure and customers who utilise it will benefit from additional, stringent security features. It protects against major attacks such as Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS), SQL Injection and brute force, helping to tackle and mitigate the attacks before they reach your website or application, enabling high availability.

Its security capabilities are augmented by an extensive network of more than 150,000 sensors deployed worldwide that feed into Barracuda Labs. This allows for automatic updates and apply “virtual patches”, ensuring the highest security levels.

CWCS Managed Hosting is an ISO 27001 certified managed hosting provider with policies and procedures covering our entire UK organisation and operations.

Following the launch of their next-gen Supreme Cloud servers, CWCS has continued to expand their offerings in order to meet the demands of its new and existing customers.

“Over the past few months, we have been working hard to launch these new products to meet the growing needs of our customers. It is always important to innovate and use the latest technology in this fast moving industry”, added Mendez.

CWCS currently offer a financially backed 100% network uptime guarantee on all its Supreme Cloud and Dedicated servers.

“We continue to offer the financially backed 100% network uptime guarantee as we recognise that in this modern world, businesses operate on a global scale and need to be online 24/7. This is why our support department are available around the clock”, added Mendez.
