HEA Hosts Social Event

We’re really looking forward to meeting a whole new set of businesses in the area

The Holmethorpe Estate Association is offering local businesses the chance to meet with their neighbours at a special drinks event in Redhill, on Wednesday October 15th.

The event, which will be held at nTrust House at 26 Holmethorpe Avenue, Redhill, Surrey, RH1 2NL from 4:00 – 7:00PM, will give local businesses from the Holmethorpe Estate the opportunity to meet with each other and get to know other business owners in the area.

Russ McKenzie, the owner of nTrust House along with business partner Eric Whitehead, is looking forward to this being the first of many such meetings.

He said, “We’re really looking forward to meeting a whole new set of businesses in the area.

“That is why we’ve set up this meeting for people to come and have a good time while finding out about their neighbours.

“Hopefully they will want to get their voices heard and we can work on improving the estate in ways that benefit as many people as possible.”

The event is being run in tandem with the Holmethorpe Hub, an exciting new business group which aims to act as a central meeting point for businesses on the estate.

Also present at the get-together will be Annie Risbridger, Managing Director at Risbridger Engineering Solutions and a key member of the Holmethorpe Estate Association. Other association members who are behind the event include its chairman Robert McIntyre of Armatool Distributors Ltd, plus Sheila Ferguson, and Paul Meech from Jayhern Engineering Ltd.

Annie said, “It’s very exciting to be helping to organise this special event.

“There is such a wonderfully diverse selection of businesses in the area, and what we want more than anything is for them to get together and make long-lasting friendships.

“We are incredibly grateful to Russ Mckenzie for allowing us to use his building to host the event, and I am confident it will be a huge success.”

As part of the event, business owners can sign up to become part of the Holmethorpe Estate Association and reap the benefits of working closely with the group.

Member businesses are entitled to perks such as their own page on the Holmethorpe Estate website, assistance with planning issues and maintenance of the roads in the Holmethorpe Estate.

All of this is available from just £40 per year for businesses with five members or less, and provides companies with valuable assistance and support.

The October 15 drinks event will be hosted by Max’s Kitchen, a café based in nTrust House which serves freshly baked baguettes, cooked breakfast and daily changing lunch specials.
