John Farrell, COO, ProductLife Group

Adding a proven leader of John’s calibre to our executive management team is another major step in our growth and integration strategy

Paris, France – November 3rd , 2014 – Life sciences outsourcing and consulting services specialist ProductLife Group (PLG) has named John Farrell, one of the most astute operators in the regulatory field, as its Chief Operating Officer (COO) to further strengthen its global footprint and integrate core capabilities.

A proven leader, John has a 25-year track record working with R&D business functions in various parts of the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries. His wealth of experience covers a range of functions comprising regulatory affairs, regulatory operations, clinical development, medical affairs, manufacturing and quality.

John joins PLG from CSC, where he was Head of Life Sciences, Regulatory Services, providing on-site and near shore services to US and EU clients as well as off-shore services based in China. John’s deep industry knowledge and proven regulatory services track-record give ProductLife Group the senior executive level insight to best respond to changing global regulatory environments, and to manage its growth in the year ahead.

“Adding a proven leader of John’s calibre to our executive management team is another major step in our growth and integration strategy for this fast moving dynamic organisation,” commented Adam Sherlock, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PLG. “These are really exciting times for PLG as we expand our organisation to ensure we continue to meet our clients’ evolving needs and work to exceed their expectations”.

“PLG’s strategy is clear, focused and compelling,” commented John Farrell, the new COO of PLG. “I am delighted to be part of the team leading PLG into its next phase of growth and operational excellence”.

The decision to appoint John to the Chief Operating Officer role is in line with other leadership changes at PLG. Pierre retains the role of Chairman while Adam Sherlock, formerly Group Chief of Sales, Marketing and Strategic Development, has been appointed CEO.
