Rapid Customer Adoption, Industry Accolades, and OEM Partnerships Validate Centrify’s Mobile- and Cloud-Centric Approach to Identity Management

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Centrify Corporation, the leader in unified identity management across cloud, mobile and data center today announced rapidly growing customer adoption and broad industry support for Centrify User Suite, its innovative cloud-based offering that takes a truly integrated approach to converging mobility and identity management.
Thousands of Centrify User Suite customers are now embracing a converged mobility and identity solution as their employees demand single sign-on (SSO) access to cloud applications via mobile devices. This represents a two-fold increase in the number of Centrify cloud customers since the beginning of the year.
“Centrify’s cross-platform support was key for us,” said Jarrett Swereda, senior business analyst at The Canadian Automobile Association of Saskatchewan. “Most other companies simply didn’t offer it, and if they did, the cost was exorbitant. For example, with Centrify User Suite employees can easily access company apps from their mobile devices with a single click when they’re in the office. And when they’re out of the physical office, they can be prompted to provide additional authentication. Industry analysts agree that the once-distinct markets of identity and mobility must inevitably converge. In a recent report, Gartner wrote that “By 2018, 25 percent of corporate data traffic will flow directly from mobile devices to the cloud.”1 Additionally, Kuppinger Cole analysts noted that “Centrify User Suite extends the reach of IAM not only to the cloud but also to mobile users. This makes Centrify’s User Suite quite different from other offerings in the Cloud User and Access Management market.”
Customers appreciate that the Centrify User Suite is a cloud single sign-on product that’s built from the ground up with truly integrated mobile capabilities. “We deployed Centrify User Suite to extend secure remote and on-site single sign-on access to university applications and computing resources, further enabling USC’s powerful learning environment while avoiding hundreds of thousands of dollars in new IT infrastructure investment,” said Michael Goay, executive director of IT for Viterbi Business Affairs, University of Southern California. “USC views the Centrify project as an investment in our students, but it has offered significant savings as well. As further validation of its mobile- and cloud-centric approach, Centrify has expanded its strategic OEM partnerships with leading security vendors, including Samsung Electronics Co. and AVG, who are leveraging Centrify technology to meet the growing market demand for Identity as a Service (IDaaS) solutions. Centrify is now the sole technology provider powering the cloud-based identity and access management features of the Samsung KNOX EMM cloud-based service, as well as the AVG CloudCare IDaaS solution for managed service providers and their SMB customers.
